Reuters: Anti-DEI group lodges new EEOC complaint against law firms, education nonprofit

Americans for Equal Opportunity filed similar EEOC charges last year against the education nonprofit and 44 law firms that worked with SEO's Law Fellowship program. AEO said 17 of those law firms have since ended participation with the ​program, and that its 2025 charges are “the subject of an active EEOC pattern-or-practice investigation.”

…[SEO’s] website says “all are welcome to apply to ​our programs,” but ⁠Americans for Equal Opportunity said SEO had recently adopted “seemingly neutral language while continuing to favor applicants based on legally protected characteristics.”
